The Museum of Human Rights, Freedom and Tolerance was founded in New Jersey in November, 2009 and incorporated as a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization in April, 2010.

Since then, the Museum has:

  • Grown from 4 founders to a team of 8, plus the Advisory Board and International Advisory Board.
  • Held its first exhibition in April, 2010. This exhibition is currently on display at the Rutgers University in Newark.
  • Made its first major press appearance
  • Participated in two international and four American conferences throughout 2009- 2011.
  • Established partnerships with the Center for the Study of Genocide, Conflict Resolution and Human Rights (CGHR) at Rutgers University and the Holocaust Center in Moscow (Russia)
